Create a Newsletter Template

Many organizations like to send a weekly or monthly newsletter to various recipients. With PTOffice, you can create a template that can be used over and over to make creating an distributing your newsletter as easy as ever.

Here's how to create a re-usable newsletter template:

  1. LOGIN to your PTOffice account
  2. Click on the hamburger menu in the upper left-hand corner and select Messenger
  3. Click the NEW MESSAGE button
  4. Click the EMAIL panel
  5. Click the ADVANCED EDITOR button
  6. Choose a TEMPLATE that comes closest to the framework you wish to create. You can always modify later, but it will start you on the right track
  7. The ADVANCED EDITOR will now open and you can begin formatting your newsletter template
  • Click and Drag components from the right hand panel into your email to add the component to your template.
  • You can hover and click on a placed component and the right hand panel will update with that components attributes which you can edit to your liking.
  • To edit text in your email, simply double click on the text desired.

9. When you're finished setting up your template, click the SAVE button in the upper right-hand corner. This will bring you back to the email setup page and the template you created will be in the Message Body area.

10. Click the SAVE FOR LATER link at the bottom of this page
11. Choose the SAVE AS TEMPLATE option
12. Enter "Monthly Newsletter Template" for a template name
13. Click SAVE

Your newsletter template is now ready! The next time you would like to create a newsletter, simply click the CHOOSE TEMPLATE link above the message body and you can choose the template you just created. From there, you can click on the EDIT EMAIL button to then update this latest newsletter's content!
